All cheques should be made payable to one degree west.
Payment is required on the day of installation once completed (Domestic installations only).
Commercial Customers must pay the balance of the outstanding invoice value within 30days of the invoice date.
Method of payment is by cash, cheque or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit, American Express, Switch, and Solo) we do not accept Electron.
Customers can cancel a contract with a minimum of 24 hours notice. We reserve the right to recover all reasonable costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
NOTE: All goods remain the property of one degree west until they have been paid for in full.
Our complaints are dealt with as a priority, if there is a dispute the client is required to submit this in writing. The management of one degree west will then review the situation and inform the client of their decision within an agreed time. (Normally 7 days).
Warranty
One degree west will, in addition to your statutory rights agree to replace or repair ( at our discretion), free of charge ,any goods supplied which are or become defective or faulty for a period of 12 months starting from the date we complete the installation unless otherwise stated in writing.
One degree west’s warranty does not cover damage caused by ‘acts of god’ i.e. storm damage/high winds, deliberate damage or misuse, only goods being defective or faulty. This warranty only covers items supplied and installed by one degree west and not any equipment provided by the customer for installation or existing equipment.
The guarantee automatically becomes invalid if you or a third party interferes with, or modifies the installation that one degree west has carried out.
The warranty does not cover service calls, education visits (to assist you in working your appliances) etc. Such work is subject to a standard callout fee.
We will respond to a warranty call back/defect within 48 hours when possible.
One degree west cannot be held responsible for any upgrades/de- grades of channels i.e. Sky Digital etc.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
